TA Geosolutions delivers boutique geophysical, geomatics and geoinformation services for the offshore and nearshore energy sector, using remote operations, AI and autonomous systems to complete projects to IHO and IMCA standards at optimised cost. We are trusted by operators and contractors across Malaysia, Brunei and Thailand, alongside serving federal Maritime Department.
Leadership
TA Geosolutions’ field team includes internal field leads with 20+ years’ experience, complemented by short- and long-term contract offshore specialists. Our average team experience deployed to date is 17 years, which ensures all planning and risk management strategised onshore are executed offshore.
A field geophysicist and project manager who moved into management consulting with Accenture, serving Petronas development (brownfield capital projects) and Shell production and maintenance as senior and lead consultant. He then returned to the survey industry and led the turnaround of the HGIS group, roughly 10x growth in 8 years, opening operations across 5 ASEAN countries. He then founded Tara Advisory which supported the M&A of his previous company and TA Geosolutions to focus on the niche and specialized T&I and IRM market. He holds a BSc Geology, cum laude (Indiana University of Pennsylvania), and Advanced Project Management (Said Business School, Oxford).
A corporate finance and strategy leader whose career spans global M&A for the Tune Group portfolio and management of roughly RM1.7b in group financial facilities, ahead of her role as AirAsia Group Strategy & Development Manager and a key part in the group's digital transformation. Magna cum laude dual major in Finance and Marketing (Marquette University). Upon joining TASB/TAGS, she led the implementation of ISO certification and long term financial planning which resulted in securing low-commitment, low interest rates facilities to ensure TAGS maintains its positive cash flow status with ZERO delays in payment to partners, suppliers or resources in the past 3 years.
Group structure
Holds the group's Ministry of Finance licence as a 100% Bumiputera company and is responsible for overall group finances and strategy.
Holds PETRONAS licensing, IMCA offshore-survey certification and Bureau Veritas ISO 9001:2015 as the operating arm. TAGS delivers the work.
Our unmanned and remote-operations programme is backed by a CIMB facility approved under Bank Negara Malaysia's SJPP scheme.

Tara Advisory (TASB) is a boutique management and geo-consultancy group. Tara Advisory leads its consulting and strategy work including federal department engagements, while TAGS delivers the field and offshore execution.
